Joyann King is Site Director at Harper’s BAZAAR and an expert in all things fashion! This week, she’s letting us peek inside her closet to see her must-have pieces and doling out some excellent advice on investment purchases!
So which pieces does she pull out of her closet over and over again? “Equipment blouses, black skinny jeans (usually J Brand), Céline shoes of any kind and the Rolex watch that my parents gave me for my 30th birthday,” King tells us. “In the colder months, you absolutely won't find me without a fur gilet.”
As for the investment pieces that should form the foundations of your wardrobe, King says there is one piece you absolutely must have: “A great jacket, hands down,” she says, adding that “investing in tailored separates takes your wardrobe the distance. Also a structured tote bag for day and an embellished clutch for evening.”
